UCFD Station 24 Seismic Rehabilitation and Addition

The UCFD Station 24 Seismic Rehabilitation and Addition was a $3.94 million CM/GC project completed for Umatilla County Fire District #1 in Stanfield, Oregon. The project modernized and strengthened a critical emergency response facility serving Hermiston, Stanfield, and surrounding areas of Umatilla County. Scope included a 25,904 SF seismic renovation and a new addition, featuring new footings, concrete shear walls, structural steel, seismic connections, a tap-out system, site improvements, and a full roof replacement.

The project was delivered within a 12-month timeline despite complex challenges such as limited site space, strict seismic billing and inspection requirements, winter construction conditions, and coordination within an active fire station. These challenges were addressed through close collaboration with the owner, engineers, and subcontractors, proactive solutions for unforeseen conditions, and rigorous quality control. The result is a resilient, reliable facility that serves as a cornerstone for the Stanfield community and supports a strong, long-term client relationship.
