18 Mar Joseph Hull Appointed Eastern Oregon Area Council Director for AGC Oregon-Columbia Chapter
McCormack Construction is proud to share that Joseph Hull, Vice President of Business Development, has been elected as the Eastern Oregon Area Council Director for the Associated General Contractors (AGC) Oregon-Columbia Chapter. This appointment reflects Joseph’s long-standing commitment to leadership, collaboration, and advancing the construction industry across Eastern Oregon.
The AGC Oregon-Columbia Chapter, established in 1922, serves as a leading voice for the commercial construction industry, representing contractors across Oregon and Southwest Washington. Through its board, councils, and committees, AGC brings together professionals from across the industry to promote workforce development, advocacy, safety, and best practices. The organization’s leadership structure is designed to ensure representation from all regions and sectors, with directors contributing to strategic direction and industry-wide initiatives.
As Eastern Oregon Area Council Director, Joseph will play a key role in connecting contractors and industry partners throughout the region, helping ensure that local perspectives are represented at the chapter level while strengthening collaboration across the state. Joseph brings decades of experience in construction leadership to this role. A Pendleton native and graduate of Eastern Oregon University, he built his career working his way from Project Superintendent to Project Executive and Vice President at a large general contractor operating in both Portland and Seattle. Over the course of his career, he has contributed to the successful delivery of complex, high-profile projects including civic, institutional, and large-scale public facilities.
Since joining McCormack Construction in 2017, Joseph has played a central role in the company’s continued growth and regional impact. His work focuses on business development, pre-construction strategy, and building strong relationships with public and private clients. He is deeply involved in aligning project delivery methods with client needs, developing procurement strategies, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and on budget.
Beyond his work in construction, Joseph has demonstrated a strong commitment to community and regional development. He serves in leadership roles that support long-term economic growth in Pendleton and Eastern Oregon, contributing to planning, development, and local initiatives that strengthen the region’s future. His appointment to AGC leadership is a natural extension of that work—bringing together his industry expertise, regional insight, and collaborative approach to support contractors and communities across Eastern Oregon.
At McCormack, we believe strong industry leadership is essential to building stronger communities. Joseph’s appointment reinforces our commitment to advancing the construction industry, supporting regional growth, and contributing to organizations that shape the future of our profession.
We congratulate Joseph on this well-deserved recognition and look forward to the impact he will make in this role.
