Eastern Oregon Regional Airport

McCormack Construction served as Construction Manager/General Contractor for the terminal renovation at Eastern Oregon Regional Airport in Pendleton, Oregon. The project modernized the existing World War II-era terminal to improve safety, energy efficiency, and passenger comfort. Scope included replacement and upgrade of core systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and windows, as well as renovations to restrooms, the restaurant kitchen, and interior finishes. To maintain airport operations throughout construction, a 60-foot temporary terminal and facilities were installed adjacent to the main building early in the schedule. The estimated construction cost was approximately $3.9 million, with phased work planned to minimize service disruptions. Key milestones included installation of the temporary terminal in 2022 and a ribbon-cutting reopening in July 2023.
